I’m new to therapy. What can I expect?Cultivating a professional relationship with a therapist is important and it’s important that you find the correct clinician for you - it’s like dating! You have to know that you are being heard by someone that understands you and that you understand what they are sharing with you. We encourage you to book a Consultation Call with one of the Sacred Space therapists to see if we are the right fit. As with personal relationships, the results that may yield through therapy are in direct proportion to what you put in and how honest you are willing to be with yourself. Consider your sessions with Sacred Space an opportunity to have a confidential container to work in collaboration with an unbiased professional. You bring whatever it is you feel you need to sort through, we will listen, and then provide you with self-exploration exercises and guidance that will support you on the road to clarity. Therapy is a lifelong process and we are honored that you have considered Sacred Space to be a part of your journey.

What is A "Good Faith Estimate"? What does it mean for me?“Right to Receive a Good Faith Estimate of Expected Charges” Under the No Surprises Act You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 917-740-7199.
